Yrs. of Exp: 5 – 8 yrs

Required skills:

Python Automation, OTN/DWDN, Optical Switching

Technologies:

Jira, Confluence, OTN/Sonet/SDH/Packet Optical switching

Ideal candidate will have:

• Experienced test professionals with avg 7 experience in planning, documenting and executing of system/integration tests (manual and automated).

• Knowledge of python automation is a must have

• Deep-understanding of OTN/Sonet/SDH/Packet Optical switching, knowledge of OTN Protection schemes (OTN-APS, Y-Cable etc.) will be a plus.

• Specific experience/knowledge, working on similar products and Embedded SW testing on Switches/routers etc. and docker/container environments will be a plus.

• Experience working with industry standard CI/CD tools like Jira, Confluence etc

Preferred Qualification:

B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc- Any Specialization

Responsibilities:

• Expertise in Software Development in multiple Technologies • Recommend and execute improvements • Create technical documentation for reference and reporting

• Ability to work on different development models (Agile, water fall etc)

• Configuration Management Activities

• Technical perfection, Qualitative and cost effective timely delivery

• Formulation and implementation of configuration management plan, quality plan & risk management

• Ability to learn new languages and technologies

• Reasonable perception for integration with customers

• Technical and non-technical Problem Identifying and solving capabilities
